East Park Fake Festival…and more to come!

The East Park Fake Festival is on Saturday 19th July at East Park featuring the finest tributes to Queen, Oasis and The Rolling Stones. For under £20, you can see three of the UK’s best tributes and also five support bands and it’s all inside too, so no need to watch the weather forecast! As part of the 2014 Fake Festivals tour, East Park is the second date for Hull. Offering a full day of entertainment from 12.30pm, festival-goers will be rocked by the best the local music scene has to offer, as well as the amazing tributes who not only sound like the real thing, but also look like them.

With a huge Fake Festivals Marquee, a Bar that is as long as the stage, and an outside area to add to the festival vibe, East Park Fake Festival is set to be another winner for Hull. “We can’t wait to hit East Park with this great line-up,” says Andrew Greetham, “This year, we’re giving everyone three opportunities to see their favourite bands, and we hope we have catered for all tastes. Last year I ran Hull YPI Fake Festival with the help of Craig Goodliffe, and it attracted a great audience that really enjoyed the experience of live top-quality music, so based on the success of last year, we decided to run three in Hull this year, and also one in Filey. We have set ourselves a massive challenge, but we are confident all the festivals will be a great success as we have some amazing bands on the line-ups, and one of the festivals will be dedicated to rock music.”

This East Park event follows the successful West Park event and will be followed by another one in Filey on the 30th August and ‘Hull Rock’ on the 13th September featuring tributes to Mettallica, AC-DC and Black Sabbath.
