Hull Music Scene: Edina – Hull’s Romanian Singer

Since her arrival on Hull’s jazz scene, Edina has wowed audiences with her singing. Her impassioned delivery reflects her earlier acting career in her home region of Transylvania. Her repertoire includes ‘La Vie En Rose’ , ‘Ne Me Quitte Pas’ which she sings in English and French along with familiar classics from the ‘Great American Songbook’. Edina appears regularly at several places in the City such as Hull Jazz Club at Goodfellowship Inn, Tuesday nights at Pave Bar, Loudhailer Acoustic Nights in Hull and she also performs in jazz jams in York and Leeds. She also appeared recently at the Endsleigh Centre and St. Mary’s Church alongside Dan Edwards on guitar. She has more dates coming up including a Hungarian/Transylvania food themed night on the 19th of July at Lena’s Cafe Bar and it’s FREE for anyone to attend. She’ll also be appearing at the Cornucopia Festival.
